If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, overwhelmed or that you have more than you can cope with – then I can help you. Counselling and teaching you self-help tools, can really turn things around for you, so that you can lead a healthy and active life and attain a balance between work, rest and play.  Acupuncture helps to balance your stress hormones so that you feel calmer and more in control.  It can help to relieve the symptoms of stress such as racing heart, depression, anxiety, panic attacks and fatigue.

I’ve found the combination of acupuncture and counselling to be the most beneficial when working with patients who are stressed, anxious or depressed.

You can be helped to look at negative beliefs and the impact they may have on the way you live your life and relate to others around you. Negative beliefs can be re-programmed into supportive, positive beliefs which can then take you forward in a positive and constructive way.

Many people develop fears and phobias which they know are not helping them, but they don’t know how to get rid of them. Using simple “re-programming” techniques, I can help you to overcome fear so that it becomes a thing of the past. Fear of flying, public speaking, exam stress and fear of spiders are just a few of the phobias which can be relieved.

Each treatment session is flexible and tailored to meet your needs and will combine “talk time” and “therapy time”.  Acupuncture is used successfully to alleviate the symptoms of stress, bringing you relief and calming your nervous system.

You will be pleased to know that the presentation went well, I managed to contain my nerves to a reasonable level. I was very comfortable all morning until I was waiting in line to speak, then they started to build up. However I managed to put all of your advice into practice, so my knees did not start to shake and I managed to keep the nerves at a reasonable level.

So much so, that once I was up there and got into the swing of things, I wish I had more content to discuss, as I had actually started to enjoy myself!
